Shaped by her own journey of healing, growth, and reinvention, Carmen brings lived experience and depth to her work, creating innovative approaches that help individuals and communities thrive.
A former U.S. Army officer, Carmen spent more than 21 years leading people and systems through complexity and change, both at home and overseas. Today, she integrates that leadership with the wisdom gained through her own transformation to help those called to live in greater authenticity, leadership, creativity, and purpose.

Reclaiming my creative power and starting again
Fueled by Creativity, Magic & Adventure
As a youngster, I was deeply connected to my heart and soul, inspired by a world full of magic and potential. The blank page, the blank canvas excited me — all the things I could create fueled my imagination. I devoured magical stories like James and the Giant Peach and Ramona Quimby, seeing possibility and creativity everywhere.
I was highly curious, artistic, active and energetic, fond of daydreaming new inventions and stories while exploring my intuition. Despite a troubled childhood, I had an abundance of inner optimism and drive and couldn’t wait to grow up and make a positive impact — to create and adventure in a world full of opportunities.
A Disconnected, Hardened Self
But somewhere along the way, I lost that inner spark. Years of unhealed traumas from childhood, combat tours, and life overburdened my heart. The older I got, the more cold, jaded, and detached I became. To protect myself, I completely disconnected from my vulnerable creative, intuitive side and focused solely on what felt safer — my logical, intellectual side.
Wounded and disconnected, I stopped seeing possibilities and only saw struggle, fear, and the need to survive. I stopped trusting my creativity and intuition, becoming a chronic over-thinker and perfectionist — defensive, suspicious, and critical. Without deep healing or connection to my creative side, I burned out and became an unyielding, hardened version of my former self. And the colorful, exciting world I couldn’t wait to experience turned cold and empty. The magic and adventure for life was gone.
Healing, Rebirth, Reinvention & Moving Forward
Still even in my darkest days, I somehow trusted that with enough inner work, I would heal and reclaim my true self, inner power, and purpose. And I’m immensely proud that I’ve managed to get myself there and beyond.
Because along the way, I’ve gained hard-earned wisdom and insights that I’m excited to share with whoever needs them, as we enter a challenging era full of potential for extraordinary, renaissance-inspired transformation.
